Trusts and foundations

Over the years, charitable trusts have contributed enormously to the charitable aims of ENRYCH and its affiliated branches throughout England.

The support and activities that we deliver to bring real quality of life to ENRYCH members are rarely funded by any statutory body. ENRYCH offers a wide range of sporting, leisure and learning opportunities to empower each and every individual who engages with our charity.

We depend mainly on voluntary income and, whilst this may come from many sources, donations from charitable trusts have always made up a significant portion of our income.

The expansion and development of our services, or the establishment of new affiliated branches and services, rely on voluntary income; Trust donations are a vital element in the mix of voluntary support that these attract.

Our hope is that charitable trusts will continue to be generous and inspired by ENRYCH’s work in empowering people with disabilities.

Opportunities...

Do you enjoy being out in the fresh air? Fancy some company? We are looking for a volunteer to go on county walks with easy going gentlemen based north of Aylesbury Town. Our member is visually impaired and would love someone to go for walks locally or further afield with, dogs welcome.

Want to relive days of The Beatles, Ready Steady Go, Elvis Presley, The Rolling Stones, Showaddywaddy, Cliff Richard and The Rubettes? Hazel, a keen rock and roller, would love to go to live gigs in Amersham but would have difficulty going on her own due to visual impairment; would you like to join her for a great night out?

If you could spare just one evening every few months (dependent on gig schedule), please contact Jenny on 07511 142 268.

Our member would love to get out and enjoy the outdoors more but cannot go on his own due to a stroke causing memory difficulties and lack of perception of hazards. Fancy joining him?

We are looking for someone to offer a little support with regular swimming and gym trips in Buckingham. Our member would love to maintain his fitness at the Swan Pool and Leisure Centre but cannot go on his own due to a stroke which has left him with memory difficulties and a lack of perception of hazards. Our member is great conversation and has many interesting stories to tell - fancy joining him for a morning or afternoon of exercise and chat?

Fancy watching a game at the pub or at a local football club? Avid Spurs supporter would love to get back into watching football and a lot of banter. Our member has difficulties with memory and changes to routine so would love to have your support to get back into the game.
