What's My Stress Buster?

This week, it is National Stress Awareness Week in the UK! Stress can present in a variety of ways and it is an important thing to discuss in order to help people reduce the impact of it.

Green space is a big factor in enhancing the wellbeing of our staff and clients. One of our most successful connections is with The Conservation Volunteers (TCV) with whom we have been transforming the Millennium Garden in Measham to become a “Green Gym” that our clients have been frequently adding their own ideas to- and creating a great atmosphere for our staff to experience from time to time as well.

Our Community Development staff at Enrych have also been to an event in collaboration with Wild Minds which involved forest bathing and Tai Chi. This definitely helped me to understand different ways of realising my inner “Zen” and being able to slow down within the power of nature.

We also have a greatly positive culture at Enrych. Our ethos is that everyone listens to the ideas that each other have. No idea is thought of as a wrong answer- within reason of course. But we have a working culture where we all support each other with different tasks collaborate in order to be as successful as possible.

I’m very much looking forward to our team-building event in the not too distant future as we will all be able to see how each other work differently and again support one another with further development as well.

My biggest “stress buster” so to speak is exercise, and I’m delighted to say that the amazing team in the Enrych office have nominated me for a Healthy Lifestyle Award, with the awards ceremony on December 2nd. It would definitely be a great early Christmas present- but I also would be absolutely delighted if 2 of the Enrych clients I have nominated were to win this award as well.

With the hard work Enrych has done to get our clients and people in the community out connecting with each other in fun settings such as our “Zumba/Yoga Madness Session”, we take people’s health very seriously in all formats. Towards the latter part of 2021 and into 2022, we will be continuing this with more exciting opportunities for people to become more confident and active members of the community. Why not solve your stress by joining one of our action-packed events. We’d love to see you!
