Spring is in the Air with new Nature & Nurture Online Session!

The first 'Nature & Nurture' session took place today to enable service users, members and volunteers to get together and discuss gardening, plants and nature.

Enrych was joined by Sam Wood and Ben Woolley from The Conservation Volunteers (TCV) who shared their ideas about a green gym they hope to start working on in Measham with the help of some Enrych volunteers, PA's and those they support.

Ben said "The green gym in Measham is all about getting people to be more active and more sociable which is so important after the restrictions of Covid-19" Ben added "People will be welcome to come along and do as much or as little as they like, if it is just for a coffee and a chat and to meet up up with friends then that will be great".

Enrych established the new online group to encourage people to get together and start talking about what is happening in their gardens and as Spring approaches, to talk about the plants they have and enable them to ask Sam & Ben questions about anything they would like to know.

Over the next couple of weeks seed packs will be sent out to any one interested in being part of the group so that plants can be grown at home in pots or on window sills in preparation for them being able to visit the site in Measham and start putting plans together or what needs to be built and grown there over the coming months.
