Enrych Celebrate National Picnic Week

July is National Picnic Month and what could be nice than getting people together after months of lockdown and isolation.

On Wednesday 28th July, Enrych are meeting at Bradgate Park between 12.30pm & 3pm to enjoy a picnic lunch including a cream scone for desert!

Bev Cowley, Head of Community Development said "We are really looking forward to being able to get together more regularly now, people in the community have really missed each other and Bradgate Park offers us a lovely space to meet safely outdoors," Bev went on "Everyone will bring their chair or blanket and their packed lunch and we will be bringing some cream scones for everyone to enjoy, the only thing we cannot guarantee is some sunshine but we are hopeful we will have a good day"

Enrych were recently awarded grant funded by NHS Charities together to commission a two-year project empowering people to lead a more active and healthy life. The funding will enable Enrych to provide a wide range of activities over the coming months to hopefully include as many people as possible, especially those who have been isolated over the past year due to Covid-19 restrictions.
