Enrych Announces Plans for forest bathing sessions

Enrych have announced their plans to add to their already busy schedule of activities and events with their new forest bathing sessions starting in January 2022.

Enrych have partnered with Forest and Nature Therapy East Midlands to provide sessions in various locations to promote the benefits of connecting with nature on physical and mental health and wellbeing.

Vicky said "I am really looking forward to sharing my knowledge of forest bathing with those connected with Enrych, our sessions will be very varied and we will be doing anything from having a walk and simply enjoying the surroundings, to outdoor cooking or art therapy".

The sessions start Monday 17th January and the first session will be in Cademan Woods from 10am - 12 Noon. Click here for more info.

Bev Cowley, Head of Community Development said "We are constantly looking for new ideas to help us support adults living with disabilities and poor mental health in the community. We are hoping that people can meet new people at these outdoor sessions which in turn will reduce social isolation."

Bev added, "Nature therapy offers so many benefits including reducing stress and anxiety as well as providing a platform to stay active and healthy and hopefully people will enjoy moving to different areas to walk, chat and enjoying various woodland activities."
