Enrych Launches Programme of Online Events

Enrych have launched a programme of online events in an attempt to reduce social isolation during lockdown. Enrych have offered a wide range of support to adults living with disabilities and poor mental health for more than 30 years and the pandemic has meant that they have had to rethink how this support is provided.

Bev Cowley, Business Development Manager at Enrych said "Those we support are really missing our social events and support groups and by offering online groups on Zoom means they can still be in touch with their friends and make new ones" Bev added "one of the feelings all of us are experiencing during the current coronavirus pandemic is loneliness and at Enrych we want to make sure we do our bit to maintain everyone's general and mental health and wellbeing until we are able to get back to having face-to-face support groups".

The groups include exercises classes, a coffee morning, a crafternoon, a nature group as well as cyber soccer and an art group.

Bev added "What is also brilliant is that some of these groups are being hosted by our amazing PA's with the person they support, not only does this enable them to achieve their social inclusion outcomes but enables them to meet like-minded individuals who we hope, in the future, will be part of their friendship group long-term.

Details of all the groups can be found by visiting /news-events/events/ on their website.
