Eligibility Criteria
You may automatically qualify for a Blue Badge if you meet any of the following conditions:

Disability Benefits:

You receive the Higher Rate of the Mobility Component of Disability Living Allowance (DLA).

You score 8 points or more under the ‘moving around’ activity of the Personal Independence Payment (PIP), indicating you cannot walk more than 50 meters.

You are registered blind (severely sight impaired).

You receive the War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement or have a permanent disability affecting your ability to walk due to injuries sustained in service.
