In Home & Community Support Worker

Coalville (LE67) and Surrounding Areas

£13.00 per hour

Are you looking for flexible, rewarding work that makes a real difference in people's lives?

Enrych is looking for caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Support Workers to help adults with disabilities, long-term health conditions, neurodiversity, and poor mental health live independently and achieve their goals.

No previous care experience is required – full training and ongoing support will be provided.

What You'll Be Doing

Every client is different, which means no two days are the same. You could be:

  • Providing companionship and emotional support.

  • Supporting people to access their local community.

  • Assisting with shopping, appointments, and errands.

  • Supporting hobbies, interests, and social activities.

  • Helping with correspondence and paperwork.

  • Assisting with meal planning and light meal preparation.

  • Supporting clients with household tasks, including cleaning and tidying.

  • Helping clients maintain their gardens through light gardening tasks.

  • Encouraging independence and helping people achieve personal goals.

Please note: This role does not involve personal care, administering medication, washing, dressing, or feeding clients.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking people who are:

  • Friendly and approachable.

  • Reliable and trustworthy.

  • Good communicators.

  • Compassionate and patient.

  • Passionate about helping others.

  • Able to work independently and use their initiative.

A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred, as many of our clients benefit from community-based support. However, we also welcome applications from non-drivers where suitable opportunities are available.

Applicants must be:

  • Aged 18 or over.

  • Eligible to work in the UK.

  • Willing to undertake an Enhanced DBS check.

Hours

This is a flexible, zero-hours position.

Hours are offered based on your availability and client demand. Many of our support workers fit the role around existing commitments, family life, studies, or other employment.
