Ukrainian/Russian Speaking - In Home & Community Support Worker

£13.00 per hour

We're looking for a caring, reliable and friendly Support Worker to provide companionship and practical support to a Ukrainian-speaking lady living in the Coleorton area of Coalville.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference to someone's wellbeing by helping them stay connected, independent and engaged in their local community.
No previous care experience is required – full training and ongoing support will be provided.
About the Role
You will be supporting one client for approximately 4 hours per week, helping with day-to-day activities such as:

Providing companionship and emotional support.

Accompanying them to appointments and activities.

Supporting hobbies and interests.

Helping with correspondence and paperwork.

Assisting with light meal preparation.

Supporting with light household tasks such as cleaning and tidying.

Helping with light gardening tasks where required.

Encouraging independence and confidence.
This role is focused on companionship and practical support.
Please note: This role does not involve personal care, administering medication, washing, dressing or feeding.
What We're Looking For
We would love to hear from you if you are:

Fluent in Ukrainian and/or Russian.

Able to communicate in English.

A good listener and communicator.

Passionate about helping others maintain their independence.
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle would be beneficial as the client would like to attend a Ukrainian Community Group.
Additional Hours Available
The client-specific role offers approximately 4 hours per week.
However, if you are confident communicating in English as well as Ukrainian and/or Russian, there may be opportunities to support additional clients and increase your hours over time.
Requirements

Aged 18 or over.

Eligible to work in the UK.

Able to speak Ukrainian and/or Russian, with sufficient English to communicate with the Enrych team.

Willing to undertake an Enhanced DBS check.
