1:1 Volunteer Befriender

We’re looking for kind, reliable volunteers to join us as 1:1 befrienders, supporting individuals in their own homes across Leicestershire.
This role is all about connection. A chat over a cup of tea, watching TV together, or simply being a friendly, reassuring presence can make a big difference to someone who may be feeling isolated.
How you'll help
Spend time with individuals in their homes
Offer companionship and conversation
Help people feel less alone, and more connected
Provide ‘short’ sitting sessions to give carers a break
You don’t need experience – just empathy, reliability, and a friendly approach.
