Our award-winning ‘Get Active’ club offers friendly and inclusive sessions designed to help people stay active, build confidence and connect with others. The session begins with Boccia from 11:30am–12:30pm, followed by the opportunity to enjoy lunch together at the leisure centre café. Afterwards, participants can have a go at a range of other sports and activities, including badminton, basketball and more.
With around 40 people regularly attending, it’s a great opportunity to meet new people, try something new and build social connections in a welcoming environment. Boccia is easy to learn, accessible to all abilities and can be adapted to suit individual needs.
